Remembering numbers can be hard – your Customers can now pay using a barcode on their phone in any Alfamart store across Indonesia.
Xendit enables you to accept payments via retail outlets / OTC channels, such as Alfamart. Through Xendit, you can easily generate a payment code via API or invoice tool, share it with your customer, and receive a callback once the payment has been made.
When using our Retail Outlet payments code, your customers need to go to a Cashier and tell them which payment code they wish to pay into as well as the name of your Business, the Cashier then types this into their system. By doing this, sometimes the code and your business name are lost in translation – creating errors and frustration all round. We’ve tried to make this process simpler for you.
Now, by creating a payment code using our create payment code endpoint you get access to a unique URL using that same code (https://retail-outlet-barcode.xendit.co/alfamart/[YOUR_PAYMENT_CODE]). The URL will render a Barcode on your Customer’s phone which can be scanned by the Cashier at the store avoiding any need for the Cashier to input anything.
