Fully customizable merchant name in customer’s bank statement for card payments

Don’t want your customers to see Xendit’s name show up in their bank statements when paying with their credit or debit cards?

Previously, the banks and card networks recommended that merchants processing card payments using Xendit include Xendit’s name in their merchant descriptors. Thus, customers would see “XENDIT*merchant name” in their bank statements when using their cards to pay with Xendit.

We’ve worked with the networks to get rid of this requirement. Now, merchants can choose the name they want to show up in ther customers’ bank statements without any mention of Xendit there. Reduce the chance of confusion from your customers around who they’re paying to!

You can still include Xendit’s name if it is important for you to refer to your payment processor, but it is now optional.
